Early-warning System for Grocery Store in New Jersey

The objective of the Early-warning System project is to predict the risk of closure for the grocery store in New Jersey using machine learning models. The grocery store is one of the industries that is least impacted by COVID-19. Data from the Census Bureau shows that the grocery store’s monthly sales from February 2020 to the present have increased positively year-on-year on average. The grocery store industry’s positive growth indicates it will have better performance than other sectors in the predictive analysis during the current epidemic.
